ScoreKit Privacy Policy

The short version

Brand Made Clear does not run a lead database behind the quizzes our customers download. A ScoreKit buyer chooses where their quiz submissions go. The quiz on this homepage is different: Brand Made Clear operates it and receives its responses. The builder saves unfinished work in the buyer's own browser.

What the ScoreKit website stores

  • Your unfinished builder draft and saved license key are stored in your browser's local storage.
  • When you validate a license, the key is sent to our server and checked against the purchase record in Supabase.
  • When you download your ScoreKit file, we record the license key and time in Supabase as a download audit event.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or create visitor analytics profiles.
  • We count a small set of product-funnel events as anonymous UTC-day totals, separate from quiz submissions.
  • If you explicitly join the newsletter, your email address and subscription status are sent to Resend so Brand Made Clear can send that newsletter and honor unsubscribe requests.

You can remove local builder data by clearing this site's browser storage. That will also remove your saved draft and license key from that browser.

Anonymous product-funnel counts

ScoreKit counts homepage views, builder CTA clicks, quiz starts, successful lead submissions, result views, first builder edits, checkout starts, and confirmed live purchases. For engagement events, the browser sends only the allowlisted event name; trusted Stripe fulfillment counts a confirmed live purchase. In the aggregate counter tables, Supabase stores only the event name, a UTC five-minute or daily window, and a count.

The analytics payload contains only one allowlisted event name. ScoreKit does not read or attach request IP addresses or user agents to the count, and it sends no quiz names, emails, answers, scores, fingerprints, submission IDs, referrers, cookies, or arbitrary metadata. It creates no visitor ID, session history, or profile. To prevent webhook or status-page retries from counting one sale twice, the existing purchase order stores one timestamp after its live purchase is counted. Quiz submissions remain in their separate delivery path.

Quiz on this homepage

Brand Made Clear operates the website quiz on the ScoreKit homepage. When you submit it, FormSubmit sends Brand Made Clear your name, email, score, answers, result details, submission ID, and submission time. Your score is calculated in your browser and appears there after the response is successfully sent.

Nicole uses the response to review your result and may follow up once about it. Submitting this quiz does not subscribe you to the newsletter or add you to another marketing list.

FormSubmit says it retains archived submissions for 30 days. Brand Made Clear keeps the received response only as long as reasonably needed to review it, follow up once, handle your requests, and meet legal or security obligations. Email nicole@brandmadeclear.com to request access or deletion.

Newsletter

The newsletter signup asks for your email address because that is where the weekly lesson is delivered. It also requires a separate, unchecked consent box. We do not treat a purchase, support request, quiz response, or another website form as newsletter permission.

Newsletter contacts are managed in a dedicated Resend Segment and newsletter Topic. Marketing emails include a way to unsubscribe, and Resend keeps the subscription status so an unsubscribed contact is not included in later broadcasts. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security signals and a short-lived verification token to protect the signup from automated abuse.

We also record the signup time, the consent-wording version, and the signup page as Contact Properties. We keep newsletter contact and suppression-status records while needed to provide the subscription, honor unsubscribe choices, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your contact record by emailing nicole@brandmadeclear.com.

Purchases

The checkout form appears on the ScoreKit website but is provided by Stripe. Payment details are sent directly to Stripe, and Brand Made Clear does not receive your full card details. We receive the purchase email, amount, payment status, Stripe purchase references, and the license key needed to provide access. When Managed Payments is used, Stripe or Link acts as merchant of record and handles payment support, fraud, disputes, receipts, and applicable indirect tax under its own terms and privacy practices.

What happens inside a customer's quiz

A downloaded ScoreKit file belongs to the buyer who customized and hosted it. When a visitor completes that quiz, the file sends the visitor's name, email, score, answers, result details, and consent choice to the destination the buyer selected. That may be FormSubmit or the buyer's webhook.

Brand Made Clear does not receive or store a separate copy of those quiz leads. The business operating the quiz is responsible for its privacy notice, policy, retention choices, marketing practices, and any requests from its visitors.

Service providers

ScoreKit uses Vercel to host the website, Stripe or Link for purchases, and Supabase for purchase entitlements, license checks, successful-download audit records, and anonymous aggregate funnel counters. A generated quiz also uses FormSubmit when its buyer selects email delivery, or the buyer's chosen webhook provider when they select webhook delivery. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices. The optional newsletter uses Resend for contact management and delivery, and Cloudflare Turnstile for signup-abuse protection. Brand Made Clear's own homepage quiz uses FormSubmit to send its responses to Brand Made Clear.

Retention and security

We keep successful-download audit records only as long as reasonably needed for licensing, fraud prevention, support, and legal obligations. We remove short funnel-throttle windows after two days and keep anonymous daily totals only while they remain useful for product and reliability decisions. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we limit ScoreKit's own data collection and do not place a customer's quiz leads in a Brand Made Clear database.
